SUSTAINABLE TRADE FAIR CONCEPT: FROM TRADE FAIR STAND TO STORE DESIGN

The design concept was based on the desire for a sustainable trade fair concept for Eurobike 2024, the world’s leading trade fair for the bicycle industry. The trade fair stand was designed in such a way that all the materials used could be completely reused in the new muli Factory Store – a thoroughly resource-saving approach. The stand consisted of an open communication area with sofas, side tables and wooden stools as well as a screened presentation area, which was enclosed by four-metre high, coloured curtains. The curtains, with an eye-catching and fresh colour scheme between bright yellow and a lilac shade, allowed targeted views into the interior and, thanks to the integrated, open grid structure, made a design reference to the perforated aluminium sheet characteristic of the muli baskets. These materials – recycled aluminium, textiles and furniture – were seamlessly integrated into the store design.
